Dust in the air enhances the desert sunsets. This picture was taken looking South to Scottsdale from Dynamite Road, a great place to capture sunsets with cactus silhouettes. Many photographers look toward the sun at sunset, but capturing the soft pastel glow reflected on the mountains makes the purple mountains majestic.
