Agave

This Agave Victoria-reginae from my yard is the most beautiful of the species.  The white on the edges outlines the leaves.  Agaves can be distinguished from aloes by the terminus spine, but are otherwise toothless.  The rosette shape of this slow-growing agave makes it look like a flower in the desert.
