Take a ride on the Paradise and Pacific Railroad at the McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park at Indian Bend and Scottsdale Road. For $2 you can ride the railroad or the antique carousel. This unique park offers many train exhibits such as the Merci Train from France, 1907 Magma Arizona Railroad Engine originally used to haul copper ore, a Roald Amundsen Pullman Luxury Car in which FDR and Canadian PM McKenzie King signed the NORAD agreement in 1940, a baggage car which houses the Scottsdale Railroad Museum, and a new Model Railroad Building with trains from four local model railroad clubs. And at 7:30 today, July 1, enjoy the free concert by Furious George who play current rock as well as classics. (Their promo picture doesn't make them look very furious!!)
