Beat the Heat Beer Fest

Chill out this Friday or Saturday, August 24 (5-9pm) and 25th (1-6pm), by heading to The Venue Scottsdale in Old Town  for the Beat the Heat Winter Beer Fest, an indoor festival featuring beers from 25 independent and local breweries such as Old World and the Phoenix Ale Brewery.  The festival benefits The Children in Need Foundation charity.  Admission ($30 or $25 on-line) includes entrance and 20 beer tastings, along with live music from Free Play on Friday and US Marshall on Saturday.  Bundle up for this "winter" party.
