Today, thousands of breast cancer survivors will be walking or running to raise money for a cure for cancer. October has become a very pink month, as even the NFL players are wearing bright pink shoes. This morning's race begins at 7:15 with a one-mile walk/run, followed at 8:00 by a 5K survivors walk/run, then the regular 5K run, and at 8:40, the 5K walk. All participants contribute to the cause, and many have raised donations for their efforts. My heart goes out to all who struggle with this disease, and to those who support them. Dear Antonia, may all the love and support you receive today be your cure.
