Bandera's Cozy Culinary Delight

Upscale comfort food?  Yes, Bandera's in the heart of Old Town Scottsdale is the perfect place to go to find foods that you will recognize, with an added culinary update.  When you enter the restaurant on the northwest corner of Scottsdale Road and First Street, you feel like you have walked onto the set of "Cheers."  Visitors enter to a full-service, wrap-around bar.  For dining, booth seating is especially cozy, without the loud din of most new restaurants.  The menu is equally cozy, with the wood-fired rotisserie chicken specialty served with their perfect mashed potatoes, not garlic, but divine.  Bring your appetite, because you are served 1/2 a chicken!!  Bandera's also has fabulous mustard bbq ribs, quality prime rib, huge burgers, and superb sides, such as their renowned cornbread and green rice.  The mesquite wood-fired spit is open for viewing off of First Street, so you can get your taste buds ready for a gourmet delight.
