I love the Scottsdale Downtown Ambassadors!! Amazing people who love Scottsdale as much as I do volunteer their time to help visitors (and locals) learn more about our city, the events, history, restaurants, art, architecture, etc. This often means that they stand in the heat at the information booth at Brown and Main Street which is the entrance to the Civic Center Mall. The little wagon kiosk is filled with maps and brochures for every adventure you may want--from shopping to hot air balloon rides. My favorite DT Ambassador is shown here. Sonnie taught science for years at Saguaro High, and now continues to share her love for Scottsdale with anyone who is interested. Each ambassador volunteers a minimum of 30 hours a year, and they are always looking for new help. Go to the link for more information.
