An Evening Stroll in the Cactus Corridor

These pleasant evenings are perfect for strolling through our neighborhood to look at lights.  Scottsdale has many incredible displays, but I like the ones I can enjoy over and over in my neighborhood with no traffic jams.  The first picture is the house across the street, with a blowup Golden Retriever which makes me smile.  Next, our friends' Sante Fe style home has luminarias - the perfect decoration for the Southwest.  Many homes will have luminarias lining their paths tonight for Christmas Eve.  The next five photos are some of the neighborhood's best.  I love all of the wrapped trees, especially palm trees and saguaro cactus.  The last photo is our little blue house with Snoopy on his doghouse.   . . . not a creature was stirring . . .
