Hashknife Pony Express Monument- Scottsdale

February 10, 2012, the 53 annual Hashknife Pony Express kicked off the Parada del Sol (Mar. 2 and 3, 2012) with their historic 200 mile ride from Holbrook to Scottsdale.  These expert riders are official mail carriers, who bring mail through rain, sleet and dark of night to Scottsdale.  This Herb Mignery bronze sculpture has an historic rider passing to a modern rider, so Old West meets New West.  Passing the Legacy is located south of Camelback, north of the canal at the Marshall Way cul-de-sac.
