I ♥ the Chihuly at Desert Botanical Gardens

The Desert Botanical Gardens are really in Phoenix, but border Scottsdale near Papago Park.  The gardens themselves are amazing, but often showcase art exhibitions such as the Dale Chihuly exhibit in 2009.  This exhibit placed 17 of his works throughout the gardens, all illuminated at night.  Chihuly's work is described as biomorphic, mimicking forms of nature. Thanks to donations, these yucca art pieces, The Desert Towers, are now a permanent part of the entrance to the gardens.  When lit, the glass glows with a special beauty.  You can see more of Chihuly's work at the DBG site:  http://www.dbg.org/events-exhibitions/chihuly.  Also, check out the lobby ceiling at the Bellagio in Vegas where he also has a gallery.
