The whole town is Irish today, even our neighbor dog, Bubba. Bubba and his "cousin" Hanna are therapy dogs for Gabriel's Angels, so he gets to dress up for special occasions to entertain children. Gabriel's Angels is a local charity that uses dogs to help children in hospitals, schools, and community centers. Last year, Bubba and Hanna were at a Headstart preschool in Phoenix, but this year, they are at the Boys and Girls Club in Scottsdale working with at risk youth. For St. Patrick's Day, the kids made root beer floats in large St. Patrick's Day Hurricane glasses, and even got to share a bit with the dogs. A special thank you to Pat and Joleen Thoms and all of the people (and dogs) in Scottsdale who volunteer to make our city a better place.
