Ancala Golf Markers

This lizard seems to own a piece of the rock, or the golf marker in this case.  With his green belly and chevron stripes, he should be easy to identify since there are only 49 Arizona species.  (Please comment if you can identify him.)   Ancala Golf Country Club sits on the rugged foothills of the McDowell Mountains, and was recently named in the top five golf courses in Scottsdale with its Dye-Design 18-hole championship course.  Golfers have to hit long, precise shots to do well on this course.  Golflink voted Ancala, Troon North, Legends, Talking Stick and Desert Highlands as the top five of over 100 golf courses in Scottsdale (and over 200 within a short drive.)  Enjoy dramatic views, lush fairways, and pristine greens.  But watch out for those specialty golf markers.
