Scottsdale Scorpions - Fall Ball

Fall baseball is here.  Tonight, catch the local minor league team, Scottsdale Scorpions, as they play our other local team, the Salt River Rafters (3-0!), at 6:35 at the Scottsdale Stadium in Old Town.  What great weather to sit outdoors and enjoy the crack of the bat, the cheers, and watch future MLB players for only $7!!  The Scottsdale Scorpions represent the San Francisco Giants (of course), Cleveland Indians, Los Angeles Angels, New York Yankees and Pittsburgh Pirates.  The undefeated Salt River Rafters, who play at Salt River Fields at Talking Stick, represent the Arizona Diamondbacks, Colorado Rockies, Toronto Blue Jays, Washington Nationals and Chicago White Sox.  Other Cactus League stadiums host fall teams such as the Peoria Javelinas, Phoenix Desert Dogs, Mesa Solar Sox, and Surprise Saguaros.  The season ends Nov. 17th with the Championship game played at Scottsdale Stadium.  Play fall ball!!!
