Artists have been working all week on art installations at the Scottsdale Waterfront such as the Nodal Water Garden by Jeff Zischke seen here, a solar-powered LED sculpture.  The weekend events include art that will be floating, hovering, emerging, revealing, and releasing at various times throughout the day.  Visitors may participate in some of the installation processes as in the Ant Farm inflatable or creating two sparkly fish, one to take home and one for the exhibit of Sparkly Fish by Christy Puetz.  SMoCA is sponsoring an event for visitors to create paper geodesic domes for a Drop City.  In addition, listen to music and poetry, watch performances, and enjoy several artworks which are illuminated for night viewing.  Events continue until 6 p.m.  Check out:  Canal Convergence
