Scottsdale "Paint Out" on Main Street

Scottsdale's "Fall for the Arts" weekend combines several art experiences in downtown Scottsdale including this Paint Out on Saturday morning.  Main Street will be closed off for 32 regionally known artists to perform a "quick draw" with brushes and paints instead of six-shooters.  After two hours, the artworks will be auctioned off at noon.  Visitors are free to interact with the artists.  Scottsdale's Fall for the Arts  runs from Nov. 8-11th, with six different events, beginning with the Thursday Art Walk, and events that are in conjunction with the West Select Art sale (Formerly the Cowboy Artists) today at the Phoenix Art Museum.  The West Select exhibit opens at the Phoenix Art Museum on Sunday, but activities in Scottsdale are free today.
