Los Sombreros has served authentic Mexican cuisine in South Scottsdale for eighteen years. Owner Azucena Tovar uses recipes from her home town of San Miguel de Allende and other towns she has visited in Mexico to provide a menu unlike any you will find in Arizona. Dining on the patio on these nice evenings is so enjoyable with heaters (or misters) extending the possibilities. The kitchen is open to the indoor dining rooms, creating a warm, inviting atmosphere. Try unusual dishes such as award-winning lamb adobo, mole poblano or tortilla-crusted snapper. My favorite appetizer is their homemade guacamole, piled high in a molcajete, served with warm chips. Every choice is better than the next!! Check out the video at:

Stayed tuned tomorrow for: The Twelve Tamales of Christmas!!!
