Most Livable City

Though Scottsdale's motto of "The West's Most Western Town" is still official, the city signs note the "Most Livable City" designation we earned in 1993 from the U.S. Conference of Governors.  One large and one small city each year receive this award.  Though this award is now 20 years old, Scottsdale continues to rank high in best cities to raise children and to retire,  as well as high rankings of schools, health care,  climate,  resorts,  dining,  golf, spas, art galleries,  cultural activities and low crime rate.  Though other valley residents might add "if you can afford it" to our "most livable city"designation,  this blog shows over 300 reasons to choose Scottsdale.
