Tenth P.F. Chang's Rock-n-Roll Marathon

The 10th Annual P.F. Chang's Rock-n-Roll Marathon, Half Marathon and Mini Marathon Relay begin tomorrow, Jan. 20th, at 7:50 a.m. (Twenty mile bike race starts at 7:15.)  The Half Marathon begins in Tempe, running a loop course through Scottsdale.  Mile markers and locations are shown on the map if you want to go cheer for your friends.  Bands are located along both courses and race volunteers offer drinks at the mile markers.  In addition, a Mini Marathon relay will run through the streets of Tempe.  All races end on Packard Drive between Sun Devil and Sun Angel Stadium, with events in the stadium.  Almost 24,000 racers are expected this year,  and because this is a qualifier for the Boston Marathon, it attracts runners from all over the world.  Go out and support your friends that have been training for months for this race, and be mindful of road closures.
