All Aboooaaard!!! Whether you ride the train or the Scottsdale Charro's Carousel at McCormick-Stillman Park on the corner of Indian Bend and Scottsdale Road, you have the chance to go back to a simpler time. Guy Stillman was stepson to Fowler McCormick (grandson of John D. Rockefeller and Cyrus McCormick, wow) who, along with Stillman's mother Anne, owned the 4,236 acre McCormick Ranch which raised Arabian horses and Angus cattle. Stillman loved railroads, and the Paradise and Pacific trains are scaled down replicas of the Colorado Narrow Gauge RR. I also love the authentic train clock from Scottsdale's sister city, Interlaken, Switzerland. This is a picture of some of the exchange students from Interlaken.
